The UPFA will not attend today's party leaders' meeting with the Speaker, MP Dinesh Gunwardena said.
MP Gunawardena said that his party had decided do so since the scheduled meeting is "illegal".
Today's parliamentary session is expected to commence at 10:30 am.
Meanwhile, the proposal to slash budgetary allocations for the Prime Minister's office will be taken up today (Nov 29).
