US Embassy advises US citizens in Sri Lanka to take precaution owing to tomorrows protest

The US Embassy in Sri Lanka has issued an advisory to US citizens in the country to take precautions when visiting and travelling around Sri Lanka due to the scheduled protest tomorrow (05).

The protest is scheduled to take place at 2 pm in close proximity to the Parliament.

Meanwhile, more than 1000 police officers and STF personnel are to be deployed to ensure security during tomorrows protest, police said.
