Mr. Hollen, in the letter, also said that the ties between US and Sri Lanka could be threatened owing to the President's move to oust Ranil Wickremesinghe as Prime Minister, the suspension of Parliament, the attempt to call for snap elections while also rejecting the votes of the parliamentarians.
