US Ambassador Alaina Teplitz taking to her official Twitter handle said the US welcomed the latest political developments that have unfolded in Sri Lanka.
Ambassador Teplitz further said that the recent political developments had pavd the way to uphold Sri Lanka's democratic and constitutional norms.
While stating that Sri Lanka is a valued partner in the Indo Pacific region, she said that US is looking forward to foster a good relationship with the government and its people.
