Van allegedly used in Keith Noyahr abduction found

A van suspected to have been used in the 2008 abduction of journalist Keith Noyahr has been found from the Piliyandala area. 

The vehicle was found by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) parked at a house belonging to a woman closely associated with Army Major Bulathwatta, who is one of the suspects currently under arrest in connection with the abduction and subsequent assault of Mr. Noyahr. 

Keith Noyahr, then Deputy Editor of 'The Nation' newspaper, was abducted from near his house in 2008. He was later released after being badly assaulted.
