A vehicle believed to have been used by a certain group including Deputy Leader of the Pivithutu Hela Urumaya (PHU) Madhumadawa Aravinda during the Minuwangoda riots has been recovered.
According to the Police, the vehicle bearing the number HJ-4747 on its number plate was taken into custody from a residence in Kirillawala.
The owner of the vehicle had fled the area following the incident, police added.
