Venerable Galagama Attadhassi Thero elected Mahanayake of the Asgiri Chapter
Venerable Galagama Attadhassi Thero , was elected as the Mahanayake of the Asgiri Chapter of the Siam Sect local media reported.. The Venenrable Thero was elected as the Mahanayake at the Special Sangha Council Meeting which convened at the Asgiri Maha Viharaya on Friday, (May 08th). The decision to elect the Mahanayake was made by a Sangha Council comprising of 18 Monks who reached a consensus.
