A suspect wanted over a killing in Jampettah Street earlier this month, has been arrested by the Colombo Crimes Division yesterday (Oct 27).
Police said the suspect had arrived in a motorcycle and fired gunshots at 24-year old Meneth Sooriyakanth, who later died of his injuries on October 8.
The suspect has been identified as a 23-year old resident of Kaduwela. He is due to be produced before the Colombo Magistrate's Court today.
