MP Wasantha Senanayake has informed the Speaker about his decision to become an independent member in Parliament.
MP Senanayake who resigned from his ministerial portfolio yesterday (Nov 27) and proceeded to pledge his support to the UNP had forwarded his request to the Speaker today (Nov 28).
