Water supply cut-off to certain areas in Kalutara
Water supply will remain cut-off until midnight to certain areas in the Kalutara district, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said today (Aug 26).
According to the NWSDB, water supply had been interrupted due a technical failure in the electricity transformer at the Kethhena Water Treatment Plant.
The affected areas are as follows :
- Payagala
- Piliminawatte
- Bombuwala
- Maggona
- Miriwela
- Kaluwamodara
- Moragalla
- Aluthgama
- Dharga Town
- Bentota
