The NWSDB said that several areas in Vavuniya will receive water supply only from 5 am to 9 am and from 4 pm to 9 pm.
Accordingly, the areas which would be affected are Thekkawatha, Vairavapuliyankulam, Vavuniya Town, Madukanda, Ambalangodella, Rambaikulam, Thonikal, Kochchikulam, and Iluppai Kulam areas.
The NWSDB explained that water levels in the water bodies located in the Vavuniya District have dropped due to the dry weather in the areas.
