Action has been initiated to deal with issues surrounding violations of local language laws at Chinese sites, National Integration and Official Languages, Minister Mano Ganesan said.
The Minister made these comments via his official Twitter handle saying Chinese business communities should respect local laws. He further added that the Ministry was receiving several complaints about sign boards at various Chinese project sites being put up in Mandarin, English and one official language Sinhala or Tamil and those that ignore both official languages.
