Justice and Buddhasasana Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe has been removed from his Ministerial Portfolios. This follows President Maithripala Sirisena approving a United National Party (UNP) request for the President to remove Rajapakshe from his Cabinet post.
Accordingly, a letter conveying the President's decision has now been delivered to Minister Rajapakshe.
