President Maithripala Sirisena has forwarded a copy of the report of the Presidential Committee to give recommendations on land release for development activities in Mannar District to Parliament.

The President's Secretary had sent a copy of the report to Parliament following a written request made by Speaker Karu Jayasuriya on March 22.
The report contains the recommendations of the Presidential Committee appointed on June 21, 2017 to give recommendations on land release for development activities in the Mannar District.
Deputy Speaker Ananda Kumarasiri announced to the House this morning that a copy of the report has been kept at the Parliament Library for the use of all MPs.
