Wimal Weerawansa hospitalized after sudden illness

Joint Opposition MP and Leader of the Jathika Nidahas Peramuna (JNP) Wimal Weerawansa has been hospitalized following a sudden illness. 

Mr Weerawansa had taken ill last evening and was promptly admitted to a private hospital in Colombo, where he is said to be recovering. 

The JNP Leader's illness also forced the party to cancel a media briefing it had scheduled for today with the participation of the MP.
