Woman dies while being taken to quarantine centre
A 68-year-old woman, a mother of a Covid infected garment factory worker died in the bus that was heading to Welikanda quarantine centre, Police said.
The deceased, a resident of Warapalana area in Yakkala was among the close associates of Covid infected persons from Minuwangoda who were taken to be quarantined.
The cause of the death is being investigated.
