A group of youths on motorbikes who commenced a "Ride for Unity" from Anuradhapura yesterday (23) reached Chilaw last evening. About 50 young men and women are taking part in the ride, which seeks to foster unity among all communities in the island.
The ride is organized by Socialist Youth Front, which is affiliated to the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP).
The youths' ride will end in Maharagama, where a concert will also be held.
