The Asian Cricket Council today confirmed the dates and venues for the Asia Cup 2023 tournament.
Accordingly, the tournament will take place from August 31 to September 17, 2023, based on a hybrid model of holding a few matches at Pakistani and Sri Lankan grounds.
A total of six teams, namely Sri Lanka,India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Afghanistan, will be competing for the trophy. According to the media release, four matches will be held in Pakistan, and the rest will be held in Sri Lanka.
This year's edition will feature six teams from two groups, with two teams from each group earning spots in the Super Four stage. The final will then feature the top two teams from the Super Four stage.
