Najmul Hossain Shanto will take over as full-time captain till the end of 2024, starting with the limited-overs series against Sri Lanka next month.
Shanto will lead a strong Bangladesh squad in the six limited-overs matches at home against Sri Lanka next month. The squad has been announced for the three T20Is and first two ODIs of the series.
Shakib Al Hasan continues to recover from the retinal issue that was discovered last month and misses out on the squads. (ICC)
