Dushmantha Chameera has been ruled out of the upcoming white-ball series against India, which is set to begin this Saturday in Pallekele. The fast bowler, known for his speed and precision, was initially named in Sri Lanka's 16-man squad for the three-match T20 series. However, Chief Selector Upul Tharanga announced that Chameera has contracted the flu and will not be participating in the series.

Chameera's absence is a significant blow to the team, as his experience and skill set are crucial in white-ball cricket. His ability to deliver at high speeds and his knack for taking early wickets would have been vital in countering India's strong batting lineup.
