Old Sebastianite from Assetline Finance (David Pieris Group of Companies), Mahesh de Alwis was unanimously elected as the 43rd overall and 29th Sri Lankan President of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA established in 1911) at the 106th Annual General Meeting held on September 22 at the MCA Legends New Wing.
Rohan Somawansa from DSI Samson Group took over as the New General Secretary.
The two new faces in the Executive Committee are, Sasith Bambaradeniya from AIA Insurance and Sanjaya Attanayake from LOLC Holdings PLC.
