Cricket: SLC picks squad of 17 for ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifiers

Sri Lanka Cricket’s (SLC) Selection Committee has selected a squad of 17 members for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2021.

The captaincy of the team has been put on shoulders of experienced batter Chamari Atapattu, Sri Lanka's most successful women cricketer at world ctage.

The tournament will be held in Zimbabwe from November 21 to December 5.

The Squad: Chamari Atapattu (Capt), Harshitha Madavi (VC), Inoka Ranaweera, Nilakshi de Silva, Hasini Perera, Sugandika Kumari, Oshadi Ranasinghe, Ama Kanchana, Udeshika Probodhani, Achini Kulasuriya, Anushka Sanjeewani, Kavisha Dilhari, Tharika Sewwandi, Prasadini Weerakkody, Imesha Dulani, Vishmi Rajapaksha, Sachini Nisansala
