Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has come to a decision to conduct a Women’s T20 Invitational Tournament for Division 1 Clubs and Major Clubs during the ongoing year.
Accordingly, six Division I clubs and five major clubs will take part in the tournament, which is expected to be played from June this year.
The move is aimed at strengthening women’s cricket in Sri Lanka.
The decision was proposed and approved by the SLC Executive Committee following a meeting held on Tuesday (24).
