Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has decided to offer Annual Player Contracts for 60 domestic cricketers after it held its first Executive Committee meeting last week.
"The is to help those cricketers sustain themselves financially at a time when cricket is not being played due to the COVID-19 pandemic," explained a statement issued by SLC.
The eligible players will be chosen by the Selection Committee of SLC.
This was one of the key decisions made when SLC's newly elected administration held its first Executive Committee meeting, focusing on the development of cricket in Sri Lanka.
