Sri Lanka Cricket named Sadeera Samarawickrama as captain of Sri Lanka 'A' side that will play two Unofficial Tests and three Unofficial ODIs against Pakistan 'A' later this month.
Samarawickrama has turned out for Sri Lanka in Test, ODI and T20 formats and his last appearance was against India in the third and final T20 played in July, which Sri Lanka won the series 2-1.
Sri Lanka has named 22 players in its 'A' squad which will be led by Samarawickrama.
Sri Lanka 'A' squad: Sadeera Samarawickrama (Capt), Lahiru Udara, Nishan Madushka, Kamil Mishara, Oshada Fernando, Lasith Croospulle, Nuwanindu Fernando, Nipun Dananjaya, Sahan Arachchige, Asmmu Ashan, Lasith Abeyratne, Dananjaya Lakshan, Mohamed Shiraz, Kalana Perera, Shiran Fernando, Asitha Fernando, Himesh Ratnayake, Vishwa Fernando, Lasith Embuldeniya, Suminda Lakshan, Ashein Daniel, Duvindu Tillakaratne.
