Cricket: Shashikala succeeds Hashan as women’s U19 head into T20 World Cup’23

Now-retired and legendary women's cricketer, Shashikala Siriwardena, will take her troops into the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup 2023 in what would be her first major assignment after taking over from her predecessor, Hashan Tillakaratne.

The tournment is to be held in South Africa from January 14, and the team and support staff will be taking wings on Friday (6).
