The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy made a landmark stop at the Dialog Axiata PLC headquarters today (23), marking a celebratory moment in Sri Lanka’s countdown to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Hosted by Dialog Axiata PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier connectivity provider, the arrival of cricket’s most coveted T20 prize highlighted the growing anticipation for the global tournament, while also reflecting Dialog’s longstanding support for Sri Lankan cricket.

Following its stop at Dialog headquarters, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy will embark on an island-wide tour, travelling to Kandy, Dambulla, and Jaffna. The tour offers fans a rare opportunity to see the trophy up close, capture memorable moments, and take part in the build-up to the tournament.

Co-hosted by Sri Lanka and India, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 will be played from February 7 to March 8 across multiple venues in both countries, promising a month-long celebration of cricket’s most dynamic format.

First introduced in 2007, the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Trophy has become a recognised symbol of the game’s shortest and most dynamic format. Representing speed, innovation, and global appeal, the trophy reflects the evolution of cricket into a fast-paced spectacle that has captivated audiences worldwide.

Its presence at the Dialog headquarters underscored the brand’s role in bringing the sport to millions of fans across Sri Lanka. The visit carried special significance for Dialog, a long-standing partner of Sri Lankan cricket.
