S. Thomas College suffered a dramatic collapse and folded for 153, conceding a substantial 173-run lead at tea on day 02 of the 144th Battle of the Blues encounter here at the SSC.
Thomians, who were reeling at 95 for 4 at lunch, lost the remaining six wickets for the addition of just 58-runs during the post-lunch session conceding a massive first innings deficit.
Their opener, Senadhi Bulankulama, was the top-scorer for his side, scoring a 40.
However, Royalist did not enforce the follow on.
Bulan Weerathunga took three, while Ranuka Malaviarachchi, Sandesh Ramanayake, and Sineth Jayawardena all claimed two wickets apiece.
Royal, batting first, declared on 326.
