The Sri Lanka Rugby (SLR) Headquarters in Torrington has been shut off by the officials of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs.
The following measure was passed days after Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Roshan Ranasinghe appointed a standing committee on April 12 after disintegrating SLR in compliance with definite provisions of the Sports Act.
SLR officials made an accusation, that the headquarters were closed down by the Ministry without their knowledge and in a surreptitious manner.
