Sports Diary for this week

The fifth edition of Sri Lanka’s franchise cricket competition with international flavour, the Lanka Premier League (LPL) is currently underway at Pallekele and Dambulla.

A total of nine matches will be down for decisions at Dambulla, before the competitions heads to the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo the following week.

The much-followed Dialog Schools Rugby League continues with a card of eight games this weekend with a game on Friday, four on Saturday and three on Sunday.

Sri Lanka Under-19s, who are currently touring England, will play the first of the two Youth Tests from next Monday at Wormsley. The match will continue until Thursday.
