Sports Diary for this week

Sri Lanka will be keen to seek a whitewash when they take on New Zealand in the second and final Test match of the series, which begins on Thursday (26) at the Galle International Stadium. Sri Lanka won the first Test by 63 runs, which helped them jump up to the third position in the table of the ongoing ICC World Test Championship.  

The Mercantile Rugby 7s, Sri Lanka’s most popular annual rugby sevens competition competed among top corporates, will be held on Friday and Saturday at the CR&FC ground in Longdon Place.

The National Super League Limited Overs Cricket Tournament 2024 continues this week with a card of four games, before it reaches the knockout stage.
