Sports Diary for this week

Australia’s tour of Sri Lanka will continue with the second and final Test match set to begin from Thursday (6) at the Galle International Stadium, before both teams travel back to Colombo for the first ODI at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium next Wednesday (12).

The ninth week games of the Mastercard-SLR Club Rugby League 2024 will continue with a card of four games this weekend as well as the SLC Major Club 3-day cricket tournament, with a card of eight matches.

The Big Match season will flag off with the 14th Battle of Hindus between Hindu College, Jaffna and Hindu College, Colombo to be played on Friday (7) and Saturday (8) in Jaffna.

The IMC Over-50 Masters’ World Cup 2025 will be held in Sri Lanka from February 9 to 23 with 14 teams competing for the title.
