The New Zealand women’s cricket team arrived last night for their inaugural series against Sri Lanka. The series will commence on June 27 and go on until July 12. This tour consists of three one-day matches and as many T20 games.

A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
