Avishka Fernando, Sahan Arachchige, Nuwanidu Fernando, Janith Liyange, Akila Dananjaya, Jeffery Vandersay and Pramod Madushan have been included in Sri Lanka’s 17-man squad to face Zimbabwe in a three-match ODI series starting this Saturday (6).
Sri Lanka will host Zimbabwe for three ODIs on January 6, 8 and 11, followed by three T20Is on January 14, 16 and 18.
All matches will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
Wicketkeeper/batter Kusal Mendis will lead the ODI side while Charith Asalanka has been named as his deputy.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has interdicted Colombo Fort Magistrate Kosala Senadheera.
The Supreme Court today refused interim relief in an application filed by President’s Counsel Senaka Walgampaya seeking an Order from the Supreme Court compelling the President to appoint judges to fill the existing vacancies in the Court Of Appeal.
The deadline for online applications to the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination has been extended until July 12, the Department of Examinations said.
