Badminton: McLarens dominates Inter-Firm Championship

McLarens Holdings dominated the Dulux 33rd Inter-firm Team Badminton Championship 2016 worked out at the Mercantile Badminton Headquarters last weekend by winning six Divisions. 

McLarens won the major Divisions in the Overall Championship, Men’s ‘A’ Division, Women’s ‘A’ Division, Men’s ‘B’ Division and their ‘B’ team emerged champions in the Men’s ‘H1’ Division in the Men’s Veterans ‘A’ Division and in the Women’s Veterans Over 35 divisions. 

McLarens clinched the Dulux Challenge Trophy as Overall Champions while John Keells Holdings PLC was awarded the MKG Challenge Trophy for occupying the second place while MAS Holdings won the HNB Challenge Trophy finishing third in the Overall run. 

McLarens shuttlers showed their prowess in overcoming strong contenders in John Keells Holdings and MAS Holdings.
