Basketball: Joes win Under-15 Schools Division 'A' title

St. Joseph’s College beat Royal Institute College by 55-37 to win the All-Island Under-15 Division 'A' Basketball Championship played at the St. Peter’s College courts.

St. Joseph's skipper Janeth Fernadopulle was named as the Best Offensive player while his team mate Shehan Fernando won the the Most Valuable Player.

The winning team led by Janith Fernandopulle included Kevin Perera , Manusha Aluthge, Chamath Gimhana, Janith Thenuja, Shannon De Zilva, Derifer Marasinghe, Shehan Fernando, Shenal Perera, Imalka Anjana, Ishan Wijesena, Lawrance Devinson, Shevin Fernando and Divine Valerian.
