An unbeaten 97-run stand for the sixth wicket between Hirantha Lakshan (45 not out) and Hirusha Jeewadith (44 not out) helped St. Thomas' College to a 5-wicket win in their 20th Limited Overs encounter against Big Match rivals St. Servatius College at the Uyanwatte Stadium in Matara on Saturday (30).
Electing to bat first, the Servatians were back in the pavilion with 231 runs on the board with four deliveries remaining.
Hirantha Lakshan was named man-of-the-match for his allround performance with ball and bat.
