Luxe Asia scored a double, clinching the first two places at the 14th Travel Trade Sports Club Bowling Championships 2015, sponsored by Amaya Resorts and Spas for the fourth successive year, concluded at the Strikes Cosmic Bowling Centre, Excel World on Saturday. 61 teams from 26 Member firms participated, with FTS Island Holidays, Cinnamon Red and Travel Outlook making their debut. After the first round, 26 top scoring teams advanced to the second round. At the completion of the second round the following top scoring 10 teams advanced to the finals: Aitken Spence Aviation ‘A’, Luxe Asia ‘A’ and ‘B’, World Air, Walkers/Whittalls ‘A’, Exotic Holidays ‘C’, Eco Team, Traveler Global ‘A’, Travel Outlook and Aitken Spence Travels ‘A’. Nashar Sally (186 points) from Luxe Asia ‘B’ bagged the Single Special award offered, being the top scorer in the final round. 1st Place: Luxe Asia ‘B’ (461 points): Nashar Sally (186), Rizwan Kuwaideen (145) and Husham Hayaz (130) 2nd Place: Luxe Asia ‘A’ (448 points): Chaminda Dias (148), Salmoon Haque (164), Ruban Dirksen (136) 3rd Place: World Air (442 points): Gayan Perera (161), Danuja Perera (140) and Lolitha Amarabandu (141)
