Brindley Wickramasinghe and Minsadi Laknara Manthrige won the Men's and Women's Singles titles in the Lanka Plate Novices Carrom Championship held at the Carrom Federation of Sri Lanka headquarters in Kohuwala.
Brindley beat Shashrika Muthunayaka 2-1 in the Men’s Singles final while Minsadi overcame Madusha Dulanjali Vithana 2-0 in the Women’s Single final.
Shashrika Muthunayaka and Prameda Mendis teamed up to beat S.A.S. Senadhi and A.N.M. Ameer to win the Men’s Doubles title.
Nimali Madushani Wijeratne and Rebecca Delryn Gabriel won the Women’s Doubles championship beating Suchini Shashikala and Masha Nirmani.
Events were conducted under four categories -- Men's Singles and Doubles and Women's Singles and Doubles.
The five-day tournament saw over 180 players taking part from across the country.

Women's Doubles: Rebecca Delryn Gabriel / Nimali Madushani Wijeratne beat Suchini Shashikala / Masha Nirmani 2-0 (24/15, 25/9)
