The traditional Nalanda College Old Boys vs. Present Boys cricket match will be played at the Nalanda College Grounds on Tuesday (20) commencing at 10.00am.
This clash takes place prior to the 89th Annual 'Battle of the Maroons' cricket encounter scheduled to take place next weekend (March 3 and 4) at the SSC Grounds.
It is expected several yesteryear cricketing stalwarts of the school will don pads to show that they are still in touch with the game.
This year's encounter will be marked with the handing over of the 'Anura Ranasinghe Memorial Challenge Trophy' to the school authorities to be presented to the season's Best All-rounder of Nalanda for the just concluded schools season.
The handing over event will take place at 2.00pm.
