Baratha Cricket Academy of Kurunegala will celebrate its 14th anniversary at Welagedara Stadium in Kurunegala with the participation of all present and past pupils, their parents and other well wishers.
B.A.D.C Bulathsinghala, the coordinating secretary of the Ministry of Education will be the guest of honour on this occasion.
Baratha Cricket Academy was founded by former Maliyadeva College, S.S.C. Kurunegala S.C and Kurunegala Youth C.C cricketer Baratha Herath with some other Cricket lovers in 2004 and is one of the leading Cricket academy in the area.
They have participated in the all leading inter academy tournaments in the island and performed well.
A cricket encounter between Baratha Cricket Academy Veterans and Youngsters will be played for Mayura Balalla Trophy after completing the Under-12 tournament which will gets underway in the morning.
Baratha Cricket Academy Veterans will be led by Baratha Herath while their Youngsters team is led by Akthab Nayeem in this encounter.
Baratha Cricket Academy officials are welcome to witness the games.
