The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has employed Nuwan Seneviratne as the Indian team’s Assistant Fielding Coach according to reports.
He will be on a contract of one year with the Indian team beginning from the upcoming Asia Cup 2018 in UAE.
Seneviratne, 38, will be with the Indian team up until the end of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 which will be held in England and Wales.
Seneviratne has worked with Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) for closer to a decade and has worked with the national cricket team’s Fielding Coach on several occasions.
