Danushka Gunathilaka, who travelled with the Sri Lanka team to UAE to take part in the Asia Cup 2018, will return to the country, as he has sustained a lower back injury.
He suffered the injury during the team's training in Dubai on Wednesday (12).
Shehan Jayasuriya, who was in the stand-by list will fly to UAE Friday (14) as the replacement for Gunathilaka.
