Sri Lanka Test opener Dimuth Karunaratne will lead a relatively strong 'A' outfit as they gear up to take on the challenge of West Indies 'A' in a month-long tour which begins from Tuesday (4).
Also in the Sri Lanka 'A' squad are Lahiru Thirimanne, who was dropped for the Australian tour, Kusal Perera, Lakshan Sandaken, Niroshan Dickwella and Roshen Silva.
The squad also includes youngsters Avishka Fernando and Lahiru Kumara, who were named to the Sri Lanka ODI side against Australia and national Youth skipper Charith Asalanka.
The tour kicks off with the first Unofficial Test at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo from Tuesday (4) to Friday (7).
The second Unofficial Test will be played at Pallakele from October 11 to 14 followed by the third and final match at Dambulla from October 18 to 21.
The three Unofficial ODIs will be played at Dambulla on October 24, Kurunegala on October 17 and at the R. Premadasa Stadium on October 30.
The West Indies 'A' team is scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on Saturday (1).
