On an invitation by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka met the national cricketers to discuss on overcoming challenges on Thursday (18).
“Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce that Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka (Member of Parliament) visited Sri Lanka Cricket on the invitation of SLC President Thilanga Sumapthipala. The purpose of his visit was to have informal discussions with the Sri Lanka team and its support staff on overcoming challenges,” an official statement issued by SLC said.
“During the discussion Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka shared his experiences as the former commander of the Sri Lanka Army where his tactics paved the way to outsmart his opponents. At the conclusion of the discussions the players expressed their gratitude to the Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka for the insight that he provided.”
