All-rounder Milinda Siriwardana has been named skipper of the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) President’s XI against Bangladesh in the on-off One Day warm-up match which will be played at the CCC ground in Colombo today (22).
Under Siriwardana, the SLC President's XI will comprise national caps Kusal Perera, Dilshan Munaweera, Sandun Weerakkody, Dhananjaya de Silva, Chaturanga de Silva, Thissara Perera, Lahiru Madushanka, Dasun Shanaka, Akila Dananjaya, Sachith Pathirana and Binura Fernando.
The visiting Bangladesh team will play three ODI's beginning from Saturday (25) with the first match at Dambulla.
Bangladesh surprised Sri Lanka by winning the second Test match, incidentally their 100th Test, at the P. Sara Oval on Sunday (19) and drawing the two-match series 1-1.
