Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) today (19) announced the names of the members of the Selection Committee, which has been ratified by the Minister of Sports, Dayasiri Jayasekara.
With the confirmed appointment of the Selection Committee Chairman, Graeme Labrooy, other members named today by SLC are former players Gamini Wickramasinghe, Jeryl Woutersz, Sajith Fernando and Asanka Gurusinha.
"The new Selectors will begin their term with the selection of the Test Squad to take on Pakistan in their tour of UAE commencing early next week," the SLC release said.
The Sri Lanka team is due to depart Colombo on Sunday (24) for a two Test, 5 ODI and 3 T20 Series against Pakistan to be played across the UAE, with the final T20 slated to be played in Lahore.
