Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is on the verge of conducting a Special General Meeting (SGM) of its membership to appoint the members of the Elections Committee, according to a news release made public today (26).
"Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to inform that according to a directive issued by Honorable Faiszer Musthapha PC., Minister of Provincial Councils and Local Government and Sports to conduct an election of Office Bearers to the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the Competent Authority of SLC, Kamal Pathmasiri has convened a Special General Meeting of its membership to appoint the members to the Election Committee," the release issued by SLC stated.
Accordingly; the required notice has already been dispatched to the membership of SLC by the Director General of Sports and the Special General Meeting is scheduled to be held on November 12 at 10.00am at the Duncan White Auditorium of the Ministry of Sports in Colombo.
"The Special General meeting will be conducted by the Director General of Sports."
