Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) officially named a fresh three-member Selection Panel today (6), which Ashantha de Mel will continue to head for a period of one year commencing from August 5, 2019.
The new Selection Panel, headed by de Mel will include Chaminda Mendis and Vinothan John.
Earlier SLC had a four-member panel in which de Mel and Mendis, will continue to serve as selectors, while former Sri Lanka fast bowler, John will be the newest addition to the panel of three.
Taken off from the services are former Sri Lanka wicketkeeper/batsmen Brendon Kuruppu and Hemantha Wickramaratne.
