Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) released the final squad of 15 players for the Under-19 Youth Asia Cup under the captaincy of Nipun Dananjaya.
The side includes seasoned campaigners Navod Paranavithana and Kamil Mishara, both former captains of Sri Lanka Under-19 teams.
The ACC Under-19 Youth Asia Cup will be played in Sri Lanka from September 5 to 14, with the participation of eight teams from the region.
Sri Lanka will compete under Group 'B' alongside Bangladesh, United Arab Emirates and Nepal in the league round, while Group 'A' will include India, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Kuwait.
Matches will be played at the CCC, P. Sara Oval, R. Premadasa, Katunayake and Moratuwa grounds.
Sri Lanka's first game will be on September 6 against Nepal at the R. Premadasa Stadium followed by the second game against the UAE on September 8 at Katunayake.
Sri Lanka will take on Bangladesh in their last group game on September 10 at Moratuwa.
